    TimesLive reports First Uranium gets a notification by the Department of Agriculture, Conservation, Environment and Rural Development that it has issued a positive decision on the amendment application lodged by MWS last year.

    Environmental authorization is vital for the future tailings storage facility for MWS’ tailings reclamation project near the town of Stilfontein, North West Province, to go ahead.

    First Uranium said the application was lodged by MWS early in October 2009 to clarify any possible discrepancies that may have arisen regarding the project and property descriptions in the environmental authorization.
