Alpha Minerals (TSXV:AMW) and Fission Uranium seek to remind shareholders and optionholders of both companies to review the respective Management Information Circulars of Fission and Alpha dated October 29, 2013, and to vote in favour of the respective arrangement transactions described therein.
As quoted in the press release:
The meeting of Fission shareholders and optionholders will be held on November 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Vancouver time at the Suite 2600, 595 Burrard Street, Vancouver BC V7X L3. The meeting of Alpha shareholders, optionholders and warrantholders will be held on November 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Vancouver time at Point Grey Room, Marriott Pinnacle Hotel, 1128 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6E 4R5.
In addition, Fission wishes to advise its shareholders that on November 8, 2013, the defendants named in the July 29, 2013 Notice of Civil Claim, as amended on September 17, 2013, filed by Fission in the Supreme Court of British Columbia (Jody Dahrouge, Debbie Dahrouge, 877384 Alberta Ltd. and Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd.), formally filed a counterclaim in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. The details of the counterclaim were previously disclosed on page E-38 of Fission’s Management Information Circular dated October 29, 2013 and page E-37 of Alpha’s Management Information Circular dated October 29, 2013. Fission believes the counterclaim is without merit and intends to vigorously defend itself.
