YPF SA Stocks Gained After it Discovered 1 Billion Barrels of Shale Oil

Bloomberg reported YPF SA (NYSE:YPF) stocks gained after it discovered almost 1 billion barrels of shale oil resources in the western province of Mendoza.

As quoted in the market news:

YPF’s American depositary receipts rose as much as 8.8 percent intraday, the biggest gain among 457 stocks in major Latin American indexes, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. It gained 6.1 percent to $28.81 as of 2:13 p.m. in New York.
