U.S. Natural Gas Futures Surged Almost 5 Percent

Reuters reported that U.S. natural gas futures surged almost 5 percent on concern over production cuts.

As quoted in the market news:

Front-month March natural gas futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 11.7 cents, or 4.56 percent, to settle at $2.684 per million British thermal units, after climbing as high as $2.733, above the 40-day moving average near $2.71.
