CALGARY, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – Sept. 26, 2016) – Perisson Petroleum Corporation (“Perisson” or the “Company”) (TSX VENTURE:POG) is pleased to announce that it is proposing to complete a non-brokered private placement of common shares (each, a “Share”) at a price of CDN$0.50 per Share for gross proceeds of up to USD$2,000,000. The proposed placement is the first tranche of Perisson’s previously announced planned equity financing of up to USD$40 million following which Perisson intends to complete its previously announced amalgamation with Forent Energy Ltd.
Perisson intends to use the net proceeds of this private placement, and its planned future equity financing, to continue its plan for the acquisition of high quality oil and gas properties in the Western Canada Sedimentary basin.
Acquisition Strategy

The Company believes the most likely way to achieve the highest return on capital employed (“ROCE”) will be through the acquisition of very high quality assets – many of which would simply be unavailable other than during a distressed industry atmosphere. They are anticipated to be relatively non-competitive processes, given the scarcity of capital and plethora of assets available in today’s market.

Barrel (“bbl”) of oil equivalent (“boe”) amounts may be misleading particularly if used in isolation. All boe conversions in this report are calculated using a conversion of six thousand cubic feet of natural gas to one equivalent barrel of oil (6 mcf=1 bbl) and is based on an energy conversion method primarily applicable at the burner tip and does not represent a value equivalency at the well head.
