Oil in New York Tumbles to One-Week Low

Bloomberg reports crude oil inched down to the lowest level in more than a week.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Prices declined as much as 3.8 percent as European banks and insurers tumbled, extending yesterday’s 4.1 percent drop in the Stoxx Europe 600 Index.
