Mackenzie Gas Project will create jobs and move Yukon gas to market

The Winnipeg Free Press.com reports that the goverment in the Yukon welcomes the Mackenzie Gas Project , as it represents jobs and a portal to ship Yukon gas to market, if it proceeds.

The story is quoted as saying:

While construction of the 1,200-km pipeline from Inuvik to Zama Alta., would be several years away, the board gave lead project-proponent Imperial Oil Ltd. (TSX:IMO) until the end of 2013 to make a decision and actual construction must begin by the close of 2015. If it is built, Yukoners could likely obtain jobs
