Husky Energy Introduces Steam Drilling at Alberta Thermal Heavy Oil Projects

Calgary Herald reported that Husky Energy (TSE:HSE) has introduces steam and horizontal drilling as production methods for two new Alberta thermal heavy oil projects.

As quoted in the market news:

Husky, Canada’s third largest integrated oil and gas company, put two new Alberta thermal heavy oil projects into commercial operation during the quarter, sanctioned the 3,500 barrel per day Sandall project, and is looking into four additional thermal projects, said chief executive Asim Ghosh Tuesday.
