Court Orders Obama Administration to Act on Drilling Permits

CNN Money reports that a federal court has ordered the Obama administration to act on five deep water drilling permits in the Gulf of Mexico within next 30 days.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The government says it has approved 32 permits for shallow water wells with only 7 pending applications. For deepwater oil wells, the agency says it has only 3 pending permits
