Azabache Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AZA) announced the appointment of Mr. Bill Wheeler as a Director of the Company.
The press release is quoted as saying:
Mr. Wheeler co-founded the firm Leith Wheeler Investment Counsel in 1982 and is currently the company’s Chairman. Leith Wheeler is an independent, Vancouver based, investment firm with approximately $10 billion is assets for foundations, pension plans, governments and individual clients. Mr. Wheeler’s particular area of expertise, prior to retiring from day to day management, was the oil and gas portion of the firm’s portfolios. Mr. Wheeler holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of UBC with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Mr. Wheeler will replace Mr Jose Luis Perez, who has resigned from the Board of Azabache effective June 15th 2010.
