Atikwa Resources Inc. (TSXV:ATK) has finished the drilling and casing of the forth horizontal well related to the Spearfish light oil target in the Pierson location of Manitoba.
As quoted in the press release:
The recently completed 13-23 well is the first of a three well program that the Company has scheduled for the area throughout October and early November. During the drilling of the well bore, the Company encountered good hydrocarbon shows. The well is scheduled to be fraced in the next week and put on production by the end of October. The Company’s contracted rig has now moved from the 13-23 location to the second well in the program at 6-24. The 6-24 well was spud last night with surface casing to be cemented in today. The well is expected to take seven days to drill.
