The story: In a “secret” interview, the Senator admitted to the San Francisco Chronicle that he would purposefully bankrupt the coal industry.
So, what was said in this so-called “secret” interview that had Sarah Palin, Fox News, and the coal industry so enraged? Obama stated here, ”…so if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”
