Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSXV:UCU,OTCQX:UURAF) announced the completion of a study of the underground mine design for the Bokan rare earth project.
As quoted in the press release:
The objective of the study was to recommend the most advantageous mining methodology from a range of alternatives, and estimate the capital and operating costs for the underground mine. The MD is an important component of Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) for Bokan
Ucore’s President & CEO, Jim McKenzie said:
The report also affirms that high grade content can be accessed close to mine mouth, with a prospective positive effect on initial construction cost and turnaround.
