Rare Earth Deposits Used to Make iPads Found in Ocean

Sydney Morning Herald reported that Japanese scientists have discovered deposits of rare earths on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The deposits are in international waters in an area stretching east and west of Hawaii, as well as east of Tahiti in French Polynesia.
