Gillard Pledges Rare Earth, LNG Supplies to Japan

Sydney Morning Herald reported that Australia’s Prime Minister promised the country would help supply rare earth elements to Japan.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Ms Gillard is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Naoto Kan later today to discuss cooperation as Japan recovers from the March 11 disaster and ongoing nuclear crisis.
