Canadian International Minerals Inc (TSXV:CIN) announced that it has completed its 2011 Phase I diamond drilling program on the Carbo Rare Earth Element property.

As quoted in the press release:

Eleven drill holes totalling 3,090 meters were completed from six locations, and a total of 671 samples, including blanks and standards, have been submitted and received by Activation Labortories of Ancaster, Ontario.

This first phase focused on Targets, A, C, and D as outlined in our news release dated April 21, 2011. Targets B, E, F, H, and I, remain untested. The area currently drilled was defined by distinct airborne magnetic and radiometric anomalies, coincident rare earth element (REE) and pathfinder soil geochemical anomalies, and newly mapped carbonatite surface exposures. A Phase II program will be designed with surface access for further diamond drilling.
