Brazil Government Wants More Rare Earth Mining

Reuters Africa reported that Brazil wants to mine more rare earths in order to be less dependent on China for supply of the minerals.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Brazilian Science Minister Aloizio Mercadante plans to meet with executives of mining giant Vale later in the day to talk about the subject, Valor Economico newspaper reported.
