Brigadier Gold Limited reports its extention of the gold zone in the M-Island Zone, Larder Lake project, Ontario.

The extension to the gold zone, which was first identified in holes MI-08-05 and hole MI-08-06 (see news release dated August 13, 2008), was intersected in Holes MI-08-08 and MI-08-09. Hole MI-08-09 returned grades up to 35.93 g/t gold over 1.5 metres as part of a 48.2 metre section grading 1.56 g/t from 196.7 metres to 244.9 metres. The 35.93 g/t assay represents an arithmetical average of the three highest separate assays (12.21 g/t, 11.76 g/t, 83.83 g/t) done by Laboratoire Expert Inc. of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec on that 1.5 metre section.

Herb Kokotow, President and CEO of Brigadier Gold says:

“We are very impressed by the results of this year’s drilling which has extended the gold mineralization to more than 200 metres vertical depth and intersected some of the highest grades to date, including visible gold below 200 metres vertical depth, in the M-Island Zone.”  “These results highlight the tremendous exploration potential of the Larder Lake Project, and we are currently evaluating plans to follow up on these significant results.”
