Marifil Mines Ltd. (TSXV:MFM) has applied for two additional lithium cateos in Catamarca Province, Argentina.
Marifil Mines Ltd. (TSXV:MFM) has applied for two additional lithium cateos in Catamarca Province, Argentina.
As quoted in the press release:
The new cateos cover an area of 11,848 hectares. The Catamarca lithium project now includes nine cateos totaling 23,661 hectares. Anomalous amounts of lithium, boron, and potash were found on the Companies’ Antofalla II and Cachari Pampa claims.
Marifil Mines Ltd’s President, Mr. John Hite said:
“while some of these samples contain highly anomalous amounts of lithium, boron, and potassium and are highly encouraging, much more work is necessary to determine whether commercial amounts of lithium are present. A private company recently returned the seven original cateos to us and we have already received serious expressions of interest from several parties. We are now studying the project to determine whether the Company should drill the property or farm it out.”
