Lithium Exploration Group (OTC:LEXG) reported that it has made significant progress at its Valleyview Project in the second and third quarters of 2011.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The 43-101 report is being prepared by APEX Geoscience and will include a hydrogeological study and 3D mapping of the aquifer under the Valleyview Project as well as a resource estimate including but not limited to lithium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. The hydrogeological study is due to be completed in October and will be followed by the 3D mapping of the aquifer. The preliminary draft of the NI-43-101 report combining the hydrogeological study and the testing program completed in May is due before the end of December 2011.

Lithium Exploration CEO Alex Walsh, says,

“We feel great about the progress that we have made in the 3rd quarter and hope to continue our progress in the 4th quarter. There are certainly a lot of balls in the air right now but we are hopeful that we will begin 2012 with the ammunition we need to build on the foundation laid in 2011. We are engaging in further exploration efforts at our Salta Project in Argentina and expanded exploration of the Valleyview Claims but the above-mentioned milestones are the focus of our attention at this time. We will be providing a comprehensive outline of each milestone and our progress through the end of the 3rd quarter in our Form 10Q filing September 30,”
