GS Yuasa to Procure Lithium-Ion Electrodes From NEC 2 to 3 Years

NIKKEI reported that GS Yuasa Corp. (TYO:6674) plans to obtain lithium-ion battery electrodes from NEC Corp. (TYO:6701) in next 2 to 3 years.

As quoted in the market news:

As demand surges for lithium ion batteries used in electric and hybrid vehicles, GS Yuasa seeks to supplement its in-house production capacity by procuring components from outside.
