Triton Minerals Ltd. (ASX:TON) announced that it has executed an exclusive option with Mineral Stream Limitada, a Mozambique company that holds eight graphite prospecting licenses located next to Triton’s Balama and Ancuabe projects.
Brad Boyle, managing director at Triton, commented:
We feel it is a great opportunity for the Company to review, consider and potentially acquire more land in the highly prospective region for flake graphite in both the Balama and Ancuabe areas in the Cabo Delgado Province. The location of further graphitic exposures on License 5577, continues to support the Company’s original intrepretation of the Balama area and we feel increases the potential of good graphitic mineralization on the Balama South project.
