Torch River Resources Ltd. (TSXV:TCR) is now Saint Jean Carbon Inc. (TSXV:SJL), pursuant to the passing of a special resolution of the shareholders at the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held in Calgary, Alberta on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.
As quoted in the press release:
The Company anticipates that the common shares of Torch will begin trading under the symbol “SJL” within the week of November 4 to 8, 2013.
Saint Jean Carbon Inc. CEO, Paul Ogilvie, said:
The Company’s name change will help the company present the brand that better reflects our business of high purity carbon lump graphite the rarest, most valuable, and highest quality type of natural graphite with most of our activities being in Quebec and Sri Lanka.
