Talga Finds Near-surface, High-grade Flake Graphite in Sweden

Talga Resources Ltd. (ASX:TLG) announced the discovery of near-surface, high-grade flake graphite at its Raitajärvi project, which is located in Northern Sweden. The drill program covered 28 holes, and results from the first 14 show that 13 holes intersected graphite mineralization; assay results from the remaining holes are expected to come in the next four weeks.

Talga Resources Ltd. (ASX:TLG) announced the discovery of near-surface, high-grade flake graphite at its Raitajärvi project, which is located in Northern Sweden. The drill program covered 28 holes, and results from the first 14 show that 13 holes intersected graphite mineralization; assay results from the remaining holes are expected to come in the next four weeks.

According to the press release, highlights include:

  • 98.9 metres at 5.5% graphitic carbon, including 29.1 metres at 11.2% graphitic carbon;
  • 62 metres at 4.8% graphitic carbon, including 14 metres at 10.2% graphitic carbon;
  • 47.5 metres at 10.1% graphitic carbon, including 6.1 metres at 16.8% graphitic carbon and 9.6 metres at 22.1% graphitic carbon; and
  • 80.7 metres at 4.6% graphitic carbon, including 13 metres at 12% graphitic carbon.
