The interpretation of the airborne geophysical TDEM survey, conducted in March 2012, has outlined a significant conductor over the Standard Graphite Corp. (TSXV:SGH) Sandy Lake property.

As quoted in the press release:

The Sandy Lake Property, acquired in the fall of 2011 for its graphite potential, is part of a series of claim blocks designated around the town of Fermont, Quebec, showing the same geology as the nearby Lac Knife deposit (Focus Metals), which is approximately 30 kilometres west. Two (2) showings are located on the eastern shore of Sandy Lake and some 68 designated claims covering some 11,700 hectares were staked by the company to cover the zone of interest.

The airborne survey covered the entire claim block and consisted of 340 line kilometres measuring the magnetic and electromagnetic (EM) responses of the underlying rocks. The interpretation of this data has linked the two (2) anomalies and both are associated with an extensive conductor measuring approximately 8 kilometres that shows fold structures in its northern and central portions. Fold structures are considered important exploration targets where graphite has potentially migrated during metamorphism. The conductor outlined on the project is coincident with the known occurrences confirming that the EM signature is clearly associated with a graphitic horizon.
