Great Lakes Graphite Inc. (TSXV:GLK) released an update on flotation concentration tests for its Quebec-based Lochaber graphite property. The tests are aimed at “developing a flotation concentration flow sheet designed to optimize the preservation of the graphite’s crystalline structure and particle sizes.”

Flotation concentration optimization results include:

Paul Gorman, CEO of Great Lakes, commented:

These test results confirm that a high-purity concentrate can be easily produced from the graphite at Lochaber. These purity levels taken together with the flake size distribution we recently reported continue to demonstrate the hiqh quality of the mineralization at Lochaber. We continue to build on our business plan of providing battery grade natural flake graphite for the burgeoning battery sector. An NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate is in the advanced stages of preparation and is the final major milestone to complete before commissioning a full Feasibility Study.
