Caribou King Resources Ltd. (TSXV:CKR) announced that it’s started exploration at its Quebec-based TAC graphite property. The company plans to target historic graphite zones, high-grade drill intercepts and historic EM conductors.

As quoted in the press release:

Exploration will include follow-up sampling around graphite-bearing drillholes such as 90-44 (returning a weighted average of 9.86% Cg over 46.75 meters) and will also focus on yet-untested conductors identified from a 1990 historic electromagnetic (EM) survey2which were more recently validated by an EM survey conducted for Caribou. Several graphitic zones have recently been identified on the property through historic data analysis and are now being sampled.

Michael England, CEO and director of Caribou King, commented:

Exploration is now underway on both of our flagship graphite properties: TAC and Buckingham. Both properties are within well-known graphite districts in southern Quebec and host favorable geology and existing infrastructure, and are surrounded by current active exploration. The newly discovered graphite occurrences at TAC, combined with recently compiled geophysics and historic drilling results, make this coming exploration season the most promising to date.
