Alabama Graphite Corp. (CNSX:ALP,US:ABGPF) is pleased to report assay results from eight additional drill holes at the Coosa Graphite Project, Alabama. Hole AGC-F06C was drilled to a depth of 249 feet from 65ft to 130ft, and intersected 2.92% graphitic carbon at 65ft.

As quoted in the press release:

All of the current results are from core holes drilled within the 200’ by 200’ resource definition grid.  Each of the holes was drilled to a minimum depth a 250’ using a wireline core drill. The core was logged and sampled at the Company’s facility in Sylacauga and shipped to ALS Minerals in Elko, Nevada, for analysis.  The samples were analyzed for graphitic carbon (Cg) by the LECO method.

Alabama Graphite VP Exploration Dr. Douglas Oliver said:

We continue to be impressed with both the consistency of the results and the width of mineralization.  The Company emphasizes that many of the holes ended in graphitic mineralization and the 250’ depth was a pre-determined cut-off.  Additional drilling has the potential to expand these results both along strike as well as at depth.
