Big Lift in Cobalt Inventory for Broken Hill Prospecting

Mineweb reported that Broken Hill Prospecting Ltd (ASX:BPL) has increased its inferred resource inventory for the Pyrite Hill project.

As quoted in the market news:

Managing director Dr Ian Pringle said there was new potential for 14-24 Mt of similar mineralisation. He said the combined Pyrite Hill and Bill Hill inferred resource on the company’s licence south west of Broken Hill was now 20.8Mt of 1.87lb/t.

Mr. Pringle said:

The mineralisation occurs close to surface and is an excellent kick start for feasibility studies for a future open cut mine capable of initial production throughput of 4-5 Mt per year.
