Workers at Peru Zinc Miner Volcan Threaten Strike

Reuters reported that workers in Volcan Compania Minera SAA’s (LIN:VOLCABC1) Yauli district have decided to go on strike on Tuesday if their new wage accord fails.

As quoted in the market news:

Volcan, the world’s No. 4 producer of silver and zinc, was slated to sit down with government officials and union leaders for another round of wage talks on Monday.
