Rio Cristal Resources Corp. (RCZ) , a Canadian zinc exploration company, rose 5.6 percent to 19 cents. Minera IRL Ltd. (MIRL) , a U.K. minerals explorer with a gold mine in Peru, rose 4.2 percent to $1.25 after announcing it completed a pre-feasibility study for its Ollachea deposit.
