Pasinex Resources CEO Steve Williams Talks High-grade Zinc in Turkey
Pasinex Resources (CSE:PSE,FWB:PNX) CEO Steve Williams spoke to the Investing News Network at the 2015 PDAC conference in Toronto about exploration and mining for high-grade zinc in province of Adana in Turkey.
Pasinex Resources (CSE:PSE,FWB:PNX) CEO Steve Williams spoke to the Investing News Network at the 2015 PDAC conference in Toronto about exploration and mining for high-grade zinc in province of Adana in Turkey. Pasinex’ flagship project is the Pinargozu project. Three drill rigs are currently on the property where Pasinex is both drilling and mining. Up to 5,000 tonnes of high-grade zinc from Pinargozu was sold in December 2014. In 2015, the Company will be continuing mining and drilling at Pinargozu, “25 tonnes a day, going up to 50 tonnes a day, [sic] high grade zinc,” which Mr. Williams says should amount to “$4 million dollars of revenue.”
Pasinex recently discovered “A new volume of ore-grade zinc mineralization” which is open in all directions towards surface, and at depth, adjacent to its Pinargozu mine in Turkey. Mr. Williams says, “This reflects the complex structure of the mineralization and has led us to the understanding that this type of mineralization will require a lot of drilling. The grades and widths are very encouraging and will enable us to continue our mine development.” The project is part of a 50/50 regional joint venture with the original owner and operator of the previously closed mine, Turkey-based Akmetal.
