Western Areas (TSX:WSA,ASX:WSA) announced outstanding results from recent drilling below the Flying Fox and Spotted Quoll mines.

As quoted in the press release,

At Flying Fox, recent drilling has intersected high grade massive sulphide in the T6 deposit, approximately 100m below the large T5 deposit where mine development is in progress. Initial results from T6 include an intersection in drill hole FUG692 of 34.7m of massive sulphide with an estimated average grade of 7% nickel. Formal assays are required to confirm the nickel grades which have been estimated using a portable XRF analyser (Niton).
