Strongbow Exploration Inc. (CVE:SBW) reports that exploration drilling is now underway at its Midway gold project in Lancaster County, South Carolina.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The Company is also pleased to report the further expansion of its regional exploration efforts within the Carolina slate belt. In particular, the Company has reached agreements with several private land owners allowing access to approximately 130,000 acres of land within the southeastern United States. These access agreements will allow Strongbow to explore and evaluate large areas of prospective geology within the Carolina slate belt, an area where private ownership of mineral and surface rights represents a significant obstacle to greenfields exploration work and the discovery of new gold deposits.
