Rosneft, Norilsk Nickel, AFK Sistema: Russian Equity Preview

Bloomberg reported unusual trading in some Russian companies today as the Micex Index rose 2.6 percent and the RTS Index advanced 2 percent.

As quoted in the market news,

OAO GMK Norilsk Nickel (GMKN RX): Norilsk Nickel’s board of directors is scheduled today to discuss the company’s strategy for the next decade. Shares fell 1.2 percent to 6,232 rubles.
