The owners of what is thought to be Australia’s largest undeveloped nickel sulphide resource – the Windarra deposits north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia – say they expect to be in production in under two years under an initial US$55 million spend to move from developer to producer.
Now in its latest resuurrectioon, Poseidon’s (ASX:POS) Chief Executive Officer, David Singleton, told the Paydirt Nickel Conference that the company’s initial resource and commissioning strategy is now comparable with successful Australian start-ups and much of the new mine plans at Windarra are “ready to go”.
