Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (TSXV:DDN) reports it has begun the airborne electro-magnetic survey targeting nickel on parts of the Amaruk-Tunerq property.

The press release is quoted as saying,

An approximate 6,000 line kilometre Geotem Survey operated by Fugro will be flown over several high-priority areas including the Tunerq prospect. At Tunerq, a drill hole intersected 2.49% nickel over 9 metres within a 35 metre wide zone assaying 1% nickel.

North’s President and CEO, Mark Kolebaba says,

The property is host to more than 50 mafic-ultramafic bodies and large areas with anomalous nickel and copper in till samples. The objective of the survey is to prioritize these areas and identify conductors that could represent significant targets.
