Lake Victoria Completes $1,077,907 In Private Placements

Lake Victoria Mining Company (OTC:LVCA) accepted and completed private placements totaling $1,077,907 as of September 7, 2010.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The funds will be used to complete two drilling programs (see News Release 07 September, 2010), advance the company’s gold projects in Tanzania, East Africa and for corporate expenses. Lake Victoria Mining Company, Inc. is working to create another gold mine in the world famous Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt, Tanzania, East Africa. Tanzania is Africa’s third largest gold producer, behind South Africa and Ghana, but also has reserves of uranium, nickel and coal.
