Kerman Contracting Pty. Ltd. announced that it has won the contract for the project accommodation camp for Sirius Resources NL’s (ASX:SIR) Nova nickel project.
Kerman Contracting Pty. Ltd. announced that it has won the contract for the project accommodation camp for Sirius Resources NL’s (ASX:SIR) Nova nickel project.
As quoted in the press release:
The project has a total value of $23 million, design will start in January 2015 with the works expected to be completed by August 2015.
The project initially involves the expansion of the temporary camp to accommodate 200 construction personnel. The permanent village will be designed for 496 individuals and includes all required services and infrastructure.
Kerman’s executive director, Mark Nagle, stated:
We are very pleased to be awarded this project by Sirius Resources who we have worked with very closely over the last weeks to refine the scope and price. We are looking forward getting the project underway. Many people recognise Kerman as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, or as a structural, mechanical, piping (SMP) contractor and this project is a good example of how diverse our capabilities are.
