Base Metals Investing Northern Iron Corp. announced the closing of the previously announced non-brokered private placement.

The press release is quoted as saying:
Gross proceeds from the financing total $766,500. NIC plans on using the proceeds for the exploration and development of its iron ore projects in the Red Lake district of northern Ontario, and working capital purposes.
