IronOne Inc. reports it has commenced diamond drilling operations with two drill rigs on its Maguse River iron project in southern Nunavut.
IronOne Inc. reports it has commenced diamond drilling operations with two drill rigs on its Maguse River iron project in southern Nunavut.
The press release is quoted as saying,
The Company is currently implementing a C$4.3 million exploration program, which will include the completion of approximately 6,000 metres of diamond drilling. The drilling program is exploring prioritized magnetic targets along an 18 kilometre strike length of prospective stratigraphy, identified from an 8,044 line kilometre high resolution airborne magnetometer survey completed by the Company in June 2011. Initial drilling is focused on the eastern portion of the property, closest to tidewater, where the magnetic anomalies appear thickest due to folding and are believed to have the best potential for a large deposit discovery.
