Fancamp Exploration Ltd. (TSXV:FNC) announced that Jean Lafleur has been appointed as its new Chairman of the Board.
As quoted in the press release:
Mr. Lafleur has a wide range of experience in the field of mineral exploration and development for 30 years. He has been active in Canada and internationally with a wide range of industry-leading companies, such as Newmont Mining Corp., Falconbridge Ltd., and Placer Dome Inc. Since 2003, he has been a mineral exploration consultant as President of PJLEXPL Mineral Exploration Inc., leading teams in the search for precious and base metals, nickel, PGE’s, and industrial minerals. He is currently a Director of Champion Iron Mines Ltd, Gimus Resources Inc., and Guinea Iron Ore Ltd.; and VP Exploration at Aurvista Gold Corp.
