Altura Mining (ASX:AJM) said on Monday that its board has given the okay to proceed with the Mt. Webber DSO project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Altura Mining (ASX:AJM) said on Monday that its board has given the okay to proceed with the Mt. Webber DSO project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The project is a joint venture between Altura, which owns 30 percent, and Atlas Iron, (ASX:AGO) which has 70 percent. First shipments are planned for the second quarter of 2014.
As quoted in the press release:
The Mt Webber DSO project will produce 3 Mtpa (million tonnes per annum) of DSO material for sale through the Port Hedland export facility in north-western Australia.
