Alderon Commences Winter Drill Program at Kami

Alderon Resources (CVE:ADV) announced that it has begun its’ winter drilling at the Kami Iron Ore project in Labrador

Alderon Resources (TSXV:ADV) announced that it has begun its’ winter drilling at the Kami Iron Ore project in Labrador.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The CDN $2.5 million program will consist of approximately 5,000 metres (m) diamond drilling with the use of three drills and is expected to take 8 weeks to complete. The drill program is designed to outline a potential of 200 to 300 million tonnes at a grade between 28-32% iron ore at the North Rose Zone.

Matt Simpson, COO of Alderon, said:

“This new zone should add significant tonnes to our projected resource and will be included in the updated resource estimate expected in June 2011.”
