Sterlite Industries Gets Green Light to Restart After Two-Month Closure

Reuters reported that an Indian court has granted Sterlite Industries permission to restart operations, ending a two-month closure that has dented domestic supply.

As quoted in the Reuters report:

Sterlite’s smelter is expected to resume production in about a week, a company statement said. Earlier, the head of its copper business P. Ramnath had suggested a restart in two weeks, with supply to customers commencing in another week.
