The Chitigua Project is located north of the El Abra mine and south of the Quebrada Blanca mine along the Western Fault Belt, a major geological feature in Chile. This is the richest copper metallogenic zone in the world which hosts, amongst others, the Chuquicamata and Escondida mines.
