CuOro Resources Corp. (TSXV:CUA,OTCQX:CRUOF) announced positive preliminary results for its initial metallurgical test work from the Santa Elena VMS project in Colombia.
As quoted in the press release:
Preliminary Metallurgical Testwork Highlights
• 94.6% copper and 97.1% gold recovery for massive sulphide sample
• 89% copper recovery from secondary disseminated sulphide sample
CuOro Resources President & CEO Robert Sedgemore said:
These initial metallurgical test results were surprisingly high on both the copper and gold recoveries with excellent results in the mid 90% range. Recoveries are typically in the mid to high 80% range so we are very pleased with these results.
