Avanti Mining Inc. (TSXV:AVT) received notice on the beginning of the final 30-day public comment period on the Comprehensive Study Report (CSR) by the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA), which is the final significant milestone in the Kitsault environmental assessment process.
As quoted in the press release:
…received notice on the beginning of the final 30-day public comment period on the Comprehensive Study Report (CSR) by the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (CEAA). CEAA has been conducting a comprehensive environmental assessment on the Kitsault Mine Project since November 8, 2010.

Avanti Mining Inc. President and CEO, Craig J. Nelsen, said:
This is the final significant milestone in the Kitsault environmental assessment process. We are grateful for the efforts of the many federal agencies that have contributed to this document. The CSR concludes that with the implementation of mitigating measures referred to in the report, the project is not likely to cause significant adverse effects.
