On Friday, the Alternative Investment Market gained 2.76 points to reach 753.74. The market has been on steady increase for most of April, but reached a month high on Friday after closing at 749.05 on Monday.
On Friday, the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) gained 2.76 points, or 0.37 percent, to reach 753.74. The market has been on steady increase for most of April, but reached a month high on Friday after closing at 749.05 on Monday.
Tower Resources (LSE:TRP) saw the biggest gain, increasing 33.39 percent to reach GBP0.24. The independent oil and gas exploration company announced the issuing of 15,094,482 new ordinary shares in March. Of these, 13,621,509 have been issued to PDF, the company’s outsourced exploration department.
Copper Development (LSE:CDC) was the biggest faller for the week, dropping 17.81 percent to hit GBP1.50. The copper mining and development company holds interests in porphyry copper projects on the island of Negros in the Philippines. However, in February the company gave up its 70-percent holding interest in the Basay project to Solfotara Mining Holdings.
