WESTERN POTASH ACCELERATES PETROLEUM & NATURAL GAS PROJECT EVALUATION

Western Potash Corp. (TSX.V: WPX, FSE: AHE) reported that further to the Company’s news regarding the detection of hydrocarbons on the Milestone property reported in the February 2, 2010 news release, the board has approved an initial Petroleum and Natural Gas exploration and evaluation program.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The initial program will entail the evaluation of 3-D seismic data, as well as the evaluation of soils for regional distribution of hydrocarbons.
